Meet Dr. Ethan Knisley, DC

Dr. Knisley began his journey of building his passion and love for chiropractic and physical rehabilitation at a young age. Throughout his adolescent years, he battled various knee and hip injuries affecting his ability to participate in athletics throughout the year. Fortunately, his decision to work with a rehab-based chiropractor played a pivotal role in his recovery journey. Through specialized treatments and rehabilitation strategies, he not only avoided the need for surgery but also successfully returned to sports, reinforcing his commitment to the field and inspiring his dedication to helping others overcome similar challenges.

Driven by this experience, he decided to attend Miami University to study Kinesiology where he earned his bachelor's degree to further his education in the field. He then extended his academic journey to Logan university where he earned his doctorate of chiropractic.

 

Blending his academic background with diverse postgraduate certifications, Dr. Knisley delivers individualized treatments tailored to each patient. His approach integrates soft tissue techniques, movement assessments, end-range loading strategies and joint manipulation, offering a functional perspective in addressing musculoskeletal conditions. Presently, he is certified in Active Release Technique (ART), specializing in nerve entrapments, and holds credentials in the McKenzie Method (MDT).

Dr. Knisley has been a passionate athlete his entire life, engaging in competitive basketball and lacrosse. Continuing his lacrosse journey at Miami University he pursued a degree in kinesiology, where he began to develop a true passion for health and fitness. It was during this period that he began to develop his own ideas on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and maximizing athletic performance.
